Orlando Raimundo, licenciado em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais, é escritor, jornalista e investigador independente. Estudou jornalismo em Paris e Tóquio, pós-graduou-se no ISCTE e foi assessor editorial do Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa. Enquanto profissional da Comunicação Social, ajudou a lançar o primeiro jornal da Guiné-Bissau livre e independente e a fundar o Cenjor, foi redator de O Século, Diário Popular e Expresso, tendo integrado o quadro redatorial deste semanário durante quase vinte anos, e escreveu mais de uma dezena de livros, entre os quais A Linguagem dos Jornalistas e A Entrevista no Jornalismo Contemporâneo. A Última Dama do Estado Novo e Outras Histórias do Marcelismo é considerado uma obra de referência sobre os anos finais da ditadura.
