Olivier Ikor, romancista, escritor, antigo jornalista, viajante arrependido, vive em Portugal há cerca de doze anos. Segundo as suas palavras «Lisboa é a mais bela cidade para escrever». Foi aqui, neste porto aberto a todas as viagens e a todas as aventuras, que escreveu Caravelas bem como o seu terceiro romance Le Dragon des quatre océans. É autor também de L’aquarium, L’Archipel dês illusions e La Balade du loup-cervier.
