Og Mandino
Og Mandino, born in Massachusetts in 1923, was an author and bestseller whose books sold over 50 million copies and were translated into more than 25 languages. He was president of the magazine. Success Unlimited until 1976 and joined the Hall of Fame from the National Speakers AssociationIn 1940, just before starting college, his mother died and he had to start working in a paper mill. When World War II began, he enlisted in the Air Force. Later he worked as an insurance broker, but financial problems and alcoholism almost led him to suicide. He then discovered self-help books; he read hundreds of them and ended up returning to work, achieving successive sales records. He wrote more than 20 books; The Greatest Salesman of All Time It sold over 4 million copies.
