Ofélia Cabaço

Ofélia Cabaço is originally from São Miguel, Azores, currently lives in Sintra and studies Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters in Lisbon. She is 63 years old, worked in secretarial work, enjoys gardening and cooking. She admires simplicity in things and above all appreciates sincerity in people. She loves Nature, Children and Silence. She is irreverent and sometimes grumpy about Injustice. She is a woman of affection and likes to think about Life and the World.

Delusionally, he yearns for a better world.

At the age of twelve, she received her first prize for lyric poetry at the Luís de Camões Floral Games. Then a student at the Industrial and Commercial School of Ponta Delgada, she contributed to school magazines and newspapers. She wrote *The Aroma of Cryptomeria* in 2012, *Leaves in the Wind* in 2013, and *The Kitten Jacinto* in 2015. She has participated in several poetry anthologies.
