Nuno Tovar de Lemos, sj nasceu em Lisboa, em 1960. Licenciou-se em Engenharia Eletrotécnica no Instituto Superior Técnico e em 1984 entrou na Companhia de Jesus. Estudou Teologia nos Estados Unidos (tendo o grau de Master of Divinity pela Weston School of Theology de Cambridge) e na Universidade Gregoriana, em Roma, onde se licenciou em Teologia Fundamental.

Foi ordenado sacerdote em 1995.

É autor de 'Eugénia Kraft', publicado na Editorial Frente e Verso, 'O Príncipe e a Lavadeira – Histórias simples para falar de Deus e de nós' e 'Textos para Rezar – 24 textos do Evangelho com comentários e sugestões para a oração', publicados na Editorial AO.
