Nuno Tiago Pinto nasceu em 1978, em Lisboa.
Licenciou-se e pós-graduou-se em Relações Internacionais e tirou o curso de especialização em Jornalismo no CENJOR.
Está, desde 2005, na revista SÁBADO, da qual é atualmente diretor.
É autor de vários livros, entre os quais Os Combatentes Portugueses do Estado Islâmico (A Esfera dos Livros, 2015); e Heróis Contra o Terror: Mário Nunes, o português que foi combater o Estado Islâmico (Vogais, 2016).
