Nuno Morais Sarmento

He was vice-president of the National Political Commission of the Social Democratic Party (2002-2005) and was called to government positions, such as Minister of the Presidency in the governments of José Manuel Durão Barroso (XV Constitutional Government, 2002-2004) and Pedro Santana Lopes (XVI Constitutional Government, 2004-2005). He was president of the National Jurisdiction Council of the PSD (2008-2010), under the leadership of Manuela Ferreira Leite.
