When Nicola O’Byrne was 5 years old, her parents banned television on Saturday mornings – and she has never stopped drawing since. Nicola grew up in Singapore, surrounded by vibrant colors, and never imagined a career in illustration until she heard about the course at [institution name]. Edinburgh College of ArtAfter graduating, she completed a master's degree in Illustration and began developing her work in children's books. She says the characters are almost always based on people she knows.
