Nelson Nunes é escritor. Autor de vários livros de não-ficção, entre os quais se encontram Enquanto Vamos Sobrevivendo a Esta Doença Fatal, Com o Humor Não Se Brinca ou Quem Vamos Queimar Hoje?, iniciou-se no jornalismo, tendo passado por órgãos como a revista Focus e a Rádio Renascença. Foi também investigador em Cultura e Comunicação pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa. É ainda autor do romance Preciosa e venceu, em 2022, o Prémio Internacional FITA na categoria de Melhor Crónica.
