Natasha Brown estudou Matemática na Universidade de Cambridge e trabalhou durante uma década no mercado financeiro. Recebeu em 2019 o London Writers Award, na categoria de ficção literária, na sequência do qual escreveu Encontro, o seu primeiro romance. Este foi considerado um dos livros de estreia do ano por publicações como The Guardian, Observer e Vogue e tem direitos de publicação vendidos para 16 territórios.
