Nasceu na pequena aldeia ribatejana chamada Lapas concelho de Torres Novas.
Estudou na Escola Industrial e Comercial de Torres Novas. É em várias actividades literárias conhecida por Rosafogo, nome com o qual publica na Internet.
Na sua poesia a saudade está sempre lá num rendilhado de palavras.
Tem editados três livros de Poesia… Pesa-me a Alma, A Melodia do Tempo ambos sob a chancela da Editora Lua de Marfim e Moldura da Saudade editado na Roménia nas duas línguas português/romeno.
Participou a convite, em cerca de quatro dezenas de Colectâneas de várias editoras.
Prefaciou as obras No Chão D’Agua do Poeta Paulo César; o romance Oh África! Oh Liberdade! do Escritor José Silva, e Encontro-me nas Palavras da Poeta Maria Antonieta Oliveira.
