Moliére
Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, better known as Molière, was a writer, actor and director. He is considered one of the masters of satirical comedy. He played a role of absolute importance in French dramaturgy, until then very dependent on the theme of Greek mythology. He used his works to criticize the customs of the time, creating the motto "castigat ridendo mores".
As a director, he was also known for his rigor and meticulousness.
