Michael Magee

Michael Magee, who was born and raised in Poleglass, Belfast, is the fiction editor of Tangerine Magazine, where he has discovered and published works by several new voices in contemporary English-language literature. His own texts have been published in Winter Papers (Ireland's Annual Anthology for the Arts) and in Stinging Fly (where Sally Rooney was also an editor), among other publications. She recently earned a doctorate in Creative Writing from Queen’s University from Belfast, based Close to Home, his first novel.
