Michael Jones

Doutorado em história pela Universidade de Bristol, foi professor nas Universidades de South West England, Glasgow e Winchester College.
Membro da Royal Historical Society e da Comissão Britânica de História Militar, é especialista na II Guerra Mundial e autor de vários livros, que baseia em poderosos depoimentos de testemunhas oculares, e nos quais dá especial relevo à história humana por trás das batalhas e campanhas.

Dedica-se actualmente à escrita e é consultor histórico para os media e apresentador. Além de O Cerco de Leninegrado, A Retirada e Guerra Total – De Estalinegrado a Berlim já publicados pela Bizâncio, escreveu livros sobre as batalhas de Bosworth e Agincourt. Nos últimos anos tem guiado visitas a campos de batalha da Frente Oriental.
