Megan Rix nasceu em 1962, em Londres.
É autora bestseller do Sunday Times, com os livros O Cãozinho Que Chegou no Natal (ed. Caderno, 2010), O Meu Cão Herói (ed. Booksmile, 2015), À Procura de um Amigo (ed. Booksmile, 2016) e A Casa dos Patudos (ed. Booksmile, 2019).
Adora os seus quatro cães, Traffy, Bella, Freya e Ellie, e sempre gostou de ler e de escrever histórias.
Além de escritora de livros infantojuvenis, é voluntária numa associação de treino de cães de assistência para pessoas com necessidades especiais.
Está a aprender língua gestual desde que percebeu, já adulta, que sempre viveu com um problema de audição.
