Max Telford

É biólogo evolucionista e titular da Cátedra Jodrell de Zoologia e Anatomia Comparativa no University College London, onde fundou o Centre for Life’s Origins and Evolution e o Telford Lab.
Max ganhou vários prémios pela sua investigação, como o EMBO Young Investigator Award, a Bicentenary Medal da Linnean Society e o Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award, e passou as últimas três décadas a investigar a forma da árvore da vida, com o objetivo mais amplo de descobrir os primeiros acontecimentos na evolução do reino animal.
A Árvore da Vida é o seu primeiro livro.
