Além disso, realizou trabalhos colaborativos, como Quando a Neve Cai (com John Green e Lauren Myracle), e As Crónicas de Bane (com Cassandra Clare e Sarah Rees Brennan). A sua obra tem constado de publicações como o New York Times, Buzzfeed, e The Guardian, tendo também trabalhado como argumentista para a EA Games. Tem um Mestrado em Escrita Criativa pela Universidade de Columbia e reside atualmente em Nova Iorque.
