Matt Higgins is an investor in the program. Shark Tank where it stands out for its human focus, strategic clarity, and emphasis on the total commitment of entrepreneurs to their ideas. Executive fellow and teacher at Harvard Business School, is also a co-founder of RSE Ventures.
She grew up in Queens, New York, in a context of poverty, family instability, and emotional insecurity. The son of a single mother who struggled to support her family, Higgins experienced feelings of shame, exclusion, and fear of failure from an early age—experiences that would later become the foundation of her philosophy of life and leadership.
He dropped out of high school at sixteen, but would later obtain his law degree from... Fordham University School of Law, becoming the youngest press secretary in the history of the New York City Council. Later, he helped lead the reconstruction efforts at the site of World Trade Centerbefore assuming executive positions in New York Jets and, subsequently, the position of vice-president of Miami Dolphins.
Deeply committed to human rights, Matt Higgins collaborated with the Global Solidarity Fund and supported Pope Francis' mission to help refugees and migrants around the world. In the book Burn Plan B, translated into dozens of languages, synthesizes the principle that has guided his entire life, namely: not having a comfortable way out can be the greatest competitive advantage of all.
