Martin Rees

Martin Rees é cosmólogo e astrofísico, foi professor de Cosmologia, Astrofísica e Astronomia, presidente da Royal Society, mestre do Trinity College e diretor do Instituto de Astronomia da Universidade de Cambridge. Desde 1995 que é membro da Câmara dos Lordes. É pioneiro em pesquisas sobre os processos físicos que conduzem à formação dos buracos negros. É autor de vários livros sobre o cosmos e astrofísica e um premiado cientista na mesma área. Vive em Cambridge, no Reino Unido.
