Mariza Martins nasceu em 1994, é lisboeta e vive na Quinta da Piedade.
Terminou a sua Licenciatura em 2015 no curso de Línguas, Literaturas e Culturas na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da NOVA de Lisboa. Atualmente está a tirar Mestrado na especialização de Estudos Ingleses e Norte-Americanos na mesma Faculdade.
Quando não está a escrever as inúmeras histórias que lhe pairam na mente, estuda civilizações antigas e Psicologia, cuida das suas suculentas e catos, pinta, passeia pela Natureza e conversa de alma para alma.
Destino Celestial foi a sua obra de estreia, publicado em 2013 pela Chiado Editora. Irmandade é a sua segunda obra.
