Mário Correia foi aviador e conservador do Museu do Ar. Nascido em Lisboa em 1953, licenciou se em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Dirigiu a participação dos Açores na Expo’98 e a recuperação do Teatro Micaelense, em Ponta Delgada. Coordenou o projeto museológico de instalação do Museu do Ar em Sintra, em 2009, o qual seria distinguido pela APOM, quatro anos mais tarde, com o prémio de melhor museu português. Foi coautor dos livros As Viagens Aéreas dos Portugueses e A Aviação na Madeira e autor do livro Aviadores Portugueses.
