Marinho Lopes

Marinho Antunes Lopes was born in Leiria in 1987. From an early age, he cultivated a multifaceted curiosity that led him to be interested in both History and Mathematics. His first contact with Physics came through an encyclopedia of Universal History, which introduced him to part of humanity's effort to understand the world we live in. This became a driving force that led Marinho to enroll in the Physics Engineering course at the University of Aveiro. Subsequently, in order to pursue a path in more theoretical areas, he completed a master's and a doctorate in Physics at the same institution. Currently, he is a researcher at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. His personal project, Sophia, which emerged in 2007, has already published more than 100 articles on scientific dissemination.
