Maria Tereza Huertas

Maria Tereza Huertas Santos nasceu em 1929 em Vila Pery (actual Chimoio), Moçambique. Frequentou o Instituto de Música de Coimbra e o Conservatório Nacional de Música, de Lisboa.
Obteve o Curso Geral de Piano, o 2º. Ano de Acústica e História da Música e o 3º. Ano do Curso Geral de Composição.
Leccionou no Centro de Cultura Musical da Figueira da Foz e no 2º. Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Recentemente obteve uma Menção Honrosa pela sua participação no XIV Encontro de Literatura para Crianças, promovido pelo Serviço de Bibliotecas e Apoio à Leitura da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian.
