María Pascual de la Torre (Madrid, Espanha, 1973) é Licenciada pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Madrid, foi cofundadora, em 2008, do estúdio de design Pluviam, do qual é diretora de arte. Dá aulas de ilustração e já participou em mais de vinte exposições em centros e museus internacionais. Com cerca de trinta livros publicados, tem trabalhado para diferentes editoras e revistas. Entre outras distinções, foi selecionada para a lista The White Ravens, em 2013, e recebeu, em 2017, o Prémio do Concurso Internacional de Álbum ilustrado, convocado pela Biblioteca Insular del Cabildo de Canarias.
