Maria Julieta Mendes Dias é religiosa do Sagrado Coração de Maria. Estudou Teologia na Universidade Pontifícia de Salamanca e Ciência das Religiões na Universidade Lusófona, em Lisboa. Desde o início dos seus estudos, o Novo Testamento tem sido o objecto central da sua reflexão. Há 30 anos que esse trabalho se tem materializado essencialmente no papel e no lugar das mulheres no Cristianismo primitivo, onde tem uma vasta bibliografia.
