Maria J. Esteves nasceu a 18 de Fevereiro de 1972 em Castelo Branco.
Viveu nesta cidade beirã até à conclusão do ensino secundário, tendo posteriormente rumado à Universidade da Beira Interior, onde se licenciou na área das engenharias.
É mãe de 2 filhos e reside actualmente em Viseu.
A escrita é uma paixão que a acompanha desde a adolescência, sendo este o seu primeiro livro editado.
