Margarida Ramalho é licenciada em História da Arte. Investigadora do Instituto de História Contemporânea, dirigiu as escavações arqueológicas na Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Luz, em Cascais, e pertenceu aos quadros da EXPO’98 (1993-1998) onde comissariou algumas exposições. Freelancer desde então, continua a comissariar exposições, tanto em Portugal como no estrangeiro e tem vários livros publicados. É coautora do Museu Virtual Aristides de Sousa Mendes e colabora com a Visão História e o jornal Expresso.
