Foi através das associações desportivas que Marek entrou para a ilustração e depois para a banda desenhada. Colaborou com alguns jornais, incluindo Ouest France, Normandie Junior, Meuriad ... antes de se juntar à EP Média para Match Décisif. Ilustrou Encontro com a morte, com argumento de Didier Quella-Guyot, um dos romances mais famosos de Agatha Christie e agora a solo com argumento e desenho no livro "Jogo Macabro".
