Márcia e Castro nasceu em outubro de 1977. É natural da cidade de Lagoa, São Miguel, Açores, mais precisamente do lugar Atalhada. É uma apaixonada pela escrita, principalmente pelo género literário romance, sendo uma romântica por natureza. Vê e vive a vida desta forma. Desde sempre, teve o gosto de criar histórias, condimentadas pela sua imaginação e fantasia, acreditando que tudo era possível. Assim surge a sua primeira obra literária. É ela a branco e preto.
