Marcelo Rubens Paiva

Marcelo Rubens Paiva nasceu em 1959, em São Paulo. É escritor, dramaturgo e jornalista. O seu primeiro livro, Feliz Ano Velho, foi publicado em 1982 e recebeu o Prémio Jabuti de Literatura – Autor Revelação. A seguir, lançou, entre outros, os romances Blecaute (1986), Não és tu, Brasil (1996), Malu de bicicleta (2003), A segunda vez que te conheci (2008), Do começo ao fim (2022) e, mais recentemente, O Novo Agora (2025).
Ainda Estou Aqui (2015) foi adaptado ao cinema por Walter Salles em 2024, com Fernanda Torres e Fernanda Montenegro a interpretar Eunice Paiva, em diferentes idades, e Selton Mello no papel de Rubens Paiva, tendo sido um estrondoso sucesso.
