Mao Tsé-Tung

Mao Tsé-tung foi um revolucionário chinês, além de um dos principais teóricos do comunismo na sua versão chinesa. Começou a sua carreira como guerrilheiro contras as forças de Chiang Kai-shek, do Kuomintang, com o qual viria a formar uma aliança momentânea para combater a invasão japonesa durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Findo este conflito, retomou a luta, à cabeça do Partido Comunista Chinês, que acabaria por tomar o poder na China, em 1949. Foi o Presidente da República Popular da China 1976, ano em que morreu.
