Manuela Cernadas Cambotas, licenciada em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, foi professora do Quadro de Nomeação Definitiva do Ensino Secundário, exerceu as funções de delegada à Profissionalização em Exercício e lecionou as disciplinas de História, Ciências Sociais, Introdução à Política, História da Arte e História da Cultura e das Artes, durante cerca de 38 anos.

É coautora do Programa de História da Arte para o Ensino Artístico Especializado e de manuais escolares e outras obras sobre História da Arte.
