Manuel Morgado empenhou-se na arte fantástica há mais de uma década, e tem-se vindo a notabilizar como autor de BD e ilustrador.

Depois de ter colaborado com Filipe Faria no livro Talismã, a sua primeira história juntos (editada pela Devir), Manuel Morgado lançou-se recentemente no mercado francês, tendo assinado para a Dargaud Gréldinard, um álbum para uma das mais famosas séries de fantasia de sempre em França, Chroniques de la Lune Noir, com François Marcela-Froideval como argumentista. Acaba de assinar recentemente o contrato para mais um álbum desta série.
