Malet

Léo Malet was born on March 7, 1909, in Montpellier. He held various jobs, experimented with the difficult art of composing before founding a cabaret. He continued to work in fields as diverse as they were improbable, became increasingly passionate about surrealism, and met André Breton. At the request of a friend, he wrote his first crime novel in 1941, creating the series. Johnny Metal. Nestor Burma It appeared on the scene in 1943, and soon became part of the famous series. New Mysteries of ParisLéo Malet passed away in 1996, leaving behind a unique body of work that blends surrealism and suspense.
