Maite Mutuberria (Navarra, Espanha, 1985) sempre gostou de desenho, e o seu percurso depressa lhe mostrou que estava no caminho certo para estimular e dar continuidade à sua paixão. Depois de se licenciar em Comunicação Audiovisual, concluiu o curso de ilustração na Escuela Arte Diez de Madrid e, desde então, dedica-se à ilustração de livros para o público mais jovem. A sua carreira já foi distinguida com vários prémios ligados à ilustração e à literatura, com destaque para a menção como finalista do XVI Prémio Internacional Compostela para Álbuns Ilustrados, em 2023, pelo livro Tarde de Sapo, agora publicado pela KALANDRAKA.
