Mafalda Cordeiro nasceu na primavera de 1978. Apaixonada pela escrita e por histórias, começou na televisão a dar vida às mais diversas personagens em séries, filmes e telenovelas. Mas o amor pelos livros falou mais alto e é entre os livros infantis que se sente mais feliz, seja a contá-los aos mais novos, em especial aos filhos, a escrevê-los ou a dinamizar oficinas de escrita criativa para crianças. É licenciada em Comunicação e tem uma pós-graduação em Livro Infantil. É autora do livro Política para Crianças (ed. Booksmile, 2024).
