Luísa Barbosa Pereira é cientista social. Pesquisadora doutorada vinculada ao Grupo de Estudos sobre a História Global do Trabalho da UNL (Portugal) e ao Projeto "In The Same Boat: Shipbuilding and ship repair workers" do IISH (Holanda). Doutora em sociologia pelo PPGSAUFRJ. Docente de filosofia e sociologia em Armação dos Búzios-Brasil. Autora de "Justa causa pro patrão" (Multifoco, 2012) "Navegar é preciso" (Multifoco, 2015) e coautora de obras sobre a história do povo português na Revolução dos Cravos (1974-1975).
