Nasceu em Lisboa a 29 de setembro de 1969. É jornalista desde 1990, tendo passado pela rádio, televisão e imprensa. Foi colaborador permanente da TSF, SIC, RTP e Semanário Económico. Em 1997 venceu o prémio "Reportagem Ciência", atribuído pelo Clube de Jornalistas do Porto. Em 2002 venceu o prémio de "Jornalista do Ano", atribuído pelo Comité Olímpico de Portugal e CNID. Atualmente faz parte dos quadros da SportTV, onde é editor do programa de grande reportagem "ReporTV". Pioneiro na escrita de livros de futebol com sucesso em Portugal, iniciou-se com a biografia Mário Jardel - Os Meus Segredos e continuou com O Bloco Notas de Laszlo Bölöni, A Arte de Simão Sabrosa, Dicionário do Futebol, Estórias d'Alvalade, A Luz Não se Apaga e Euro de Caretas (em co-autoria com os cartonistas Ricardo Galvão, Larangeiro e Pedro Ribeiro Ferreira). Coordenou também o livro Ser Benfiquista.
