Luís Mendonça de Carvalho

Luís Mendonça de Carvalho é biólogo (UTAD), mestre em bioquímica vegetal (Univ. Lisboa), doutor em biologia (Univ. Coimbra), visiting scholar (Univ. de Harvard), investigador de história e filosofia da ciência (Univ. Évora), autor de artigos e livros científicos e de divulgação científica, professor adjunto no Instituto Politécnico de Beja, onde fundou e dirige o primeiro museu português dedicado ao estudo da etnobotânica, ciência que estuda as distintas relações que as culturas humanas desenvolvem com as plantas.
