Luis Manuel López Román nasceu Madrid em 1982 e desde muito cedo descobriu aquilo que seria a sua grande paixão: os livros. Em consequência do seu amor pela leitura, decidiu estudar História e Filologia Clássica na Universidade Complutense de Madrid, instituição onde se manteve durante vários anos como investigador. Atualmente junta a sua faceta de professor do ensino secundário com a divulgação histórica em diversas plataformas digitais e páginas da Internet. A sua paixão pela escrita também nasceu muito cedo, tendo desenvolvido um apreço especial por duas temáticas: o terror e o romance histórico.
É pai de dois meninos e ativo comentador da atualidade nas redes sociais.
