Nasceu no Barreiro a 8 de maio de 1970 e vive atualmente em Alcochete. Iniciou a sua atividade literária em 2007, vindo a publicar um livro de poesia por ano, até 2011. Em 2012, a sua carreira literária toma outro rumo ao descobrir e percorrer o Caminho de Santiago. Essa paixão reflete-se no primeiro livro de prosa que publica, em 2013, Entre o Silêncio das Pedras, que já conheceu 3 edições, incluindo uma brasileira, e já reeditado pela Ego. Depois deste romance, publicou Diário de Xavier Lopes, em coautoria Olhares de um peregrino de Santiago e, em 2016, O Peregrino, romance também reeditado pela Ego. Em 2018 publicou o seu primeiro thriller, intitulado A Sombra da Verdade. A sua dedicação ao Caminho de Santiago já lhe valeu diversas homenagens na Galiza e em Portugal, onde é unanimemente conhecido como o maior autor de ficção sobre este tema.
