Luís Costa e Sousa

Luís Costa e Sousa nasceu em Tomar em 1964. Concluiu em 1991 a licenciatura em Arquitetura na área de reabilitação, na Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Exerce a sua atividade profissional na área da arquitetura hospitalar. Como corolário da investigação feita regularmente na Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal, concluiu em 2006 o Mestrado em História dos Descobrimentos e Expansão na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, cujo trabalho de tese foi distinguido com o Prémio de Defesa Nacional do mesmo ano e que deu origem ao livro A Arte da Guerra. A Arquitectura dos Campos de Batalha no Portugal de Quinhentos, publicado em 2008 pela Tribuna da História.
