Lúcia Vaz Pedro
Lúcia Vaz Pedro is a secondary school teacher of Portuguese and French at the Inês de Castro Secondary School in Vila Nova de Gaia. She holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures with a specialization in Portuguese and French Studies from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. She is a certified trainer in the field of Portuguese Language, both nationally and internationally. She writes columns for the [publication name - missing from original text]. News Journal and for the PublicIn 2018, she was awarded the medal of cultural merit by the Gaia City Council for promoting the Portuguese language. She has published more than thirty books (school textbooks, novels, and children's books). In 2021, she began writing erotic literature, becoming the first woman in Portugal to write a novel of that genre. Prove it to me, a successful project that continued in 2023 in Prove it to me again.She participated as a speaker at TEDx in Vila Nova de Gaia and was invited, on a statutory secondment basis, to be part of the CyberQuestions, as a permanent consultant. She taught Academic Portuguese at ISCTE and is the author of textbooks.
