Louisa Yousfi
Louisa Yousfi, journalist, literary critic, and writer, is the daughter of Algerian immigrants in France and "a good student of the Republic," as she describes herself. With her first book, IN THE NAME OF THE BARBARIAN, originally published in 2022, has become one of the central voices of decolonial thought. More recently, she participated in a collection of texts. Against political littérature (La Fabrique, 2024), winning a residency grant at the Villa Medici that same year to write his first novel.
