Linda Howard was born on August 3, 1950, in Gadsden, Alabama, USA. Whether reading or writing, books have always played a very important role in her life. She is an original member of the RWA (Romance Writers of America) Founded in 1981. With a career spanning 20 years, it boasts many awards such as B. Dalton Bestseller Award and the Reviewers for Romantic Times Magazine; honorable reviews from professionals and her peers; and more than 10 million printed copies of her 25 published titles. Linda is the author of several bestsellers of New York Times including A Kiss in the Darkness.
