The biggest compliment Linda can receive is a child telling her that she became a reader after reading one of her books.
She lives in a country house with a tower in Leicestershire, England, with her husband, three children, three dogs and three ponies.
When he's not writing, he likes to go horseback riding, read, and visit schools and libraries to talk to people about writing.
