Lawrence S. Graham

Lawrence S. Graham (EUA, 1936-2023) foi professor na Universidade do Texas, Austin, durante 45 anos, onde ensinou Governação, foi fellow no instituto IC2, fundador e diretor do Brazil Center (no Lozano Long Institute de Estudos Latino-Americanos) e vice-presidente de Estudos Internacionais. Formado em Ciência Política, especializou-se em políticas públicas e em política comparativa e combinou sempre o ensino com a investigação científica e trabalho no terreno pelo mundo todo. Começou por dedicar os seus estudos ao Brasil e à América Latina, mas o trabalho levou-o ainda para o leste e para o sul da Europa, incluindo Portugal, e para os países africanos de língua portuguesa. Publicou 17 livros e mais de cem artigos.
