Laurent Simon

Laurent Simon formou-se na escola Émile Cohl, em Lyon. Enquanto designer gráfico e ilustrador, trabalhou na criação de anúncios publicitários, cartões, postais e cartazes. Após esta breve passagem pelo mundo do design, decidiu retomar plenamente a ilustração e, em 2011, entrou no universo dos livros ao publicar o seu primeiro livro infantil. Desde então, escreve e ilustra para várias editoras infantojuvenis franco-belgas de referência, como a Hélium, NordSud, Milan, Casterman, Le Père Castor, Nathan e L’Élan Vert. O seu estilo gráfico é fortemente influenciado pela prática do esboço. Vive atualmente em Lyon.
