Laurent Moreau é um dos ilustradores contemporâneos mais conhecidos do mundo. A sua identidade e talento revelam-se na qualidade dos projetos editoriais que estão espalhados por mais de uma dezena de países. Em França editou livros na Actes Sud Junior, Hélium, Rouergue, Gallimard e Milan. Em Portugal apresentou-se com o livro "Em que pensas tu?" pel'O Bichinho de Conto. Laurent Moreau formou-se na École des Arts Décoratifs, é membro do Central Vapeur, um coletivo de criadores cujo festival de ilustração tem o mesmo nome. Este festival é realizado anualmente em Estrasburgo acolhe artistas de desenhos animados, editores independentes e outros criadores gráficos.
