Lauren Oliver
Born in Queens, New York, in 1982, the daughter of literature professors, the world of stories and fiction has been hers from an early age. A graduate in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Chicago, she worked as an editorial assistant at Penguin Books until 2009, when she decided to pursue her dream of being a full-time writer and working in her pajamas every day. She enjoys writing, reading, cooking, traveling, dancing, running, and inventing strange songs. Dark chocolate, autumn, ketchup, and feeling comfortable are some of her favorite things, but she hates practical shoes, liars, and bananas.
